Chief Inspector Kenny Graham has been appointed the area commander for East Renfrewshire.

He replaces former Superintendent Ciorstan Shearer who has moved to divisional headquarters at Govan.

Chief Inspector Graham had been deputy sub-divisional officer for East Renfrewshire since 2005.

Chief Inspector Kenny Graham said: “I have an excellent knowledge of East Renfrewshire and enjoy strong relations with the council and community. I am looking forward to working with all our community safety partners and the community itself to further drive down crime and the fear of crime across East Renfrewshire.”

Chair of East Renfrewshire NHW Tom Taylor said: “I congratulate Kenny on his appointment as area commander. He has been a tremendous asset to the community since he came here five years ago and he has always been a great supporter and friend of NHW"
