There is one poor tree that has been scheduled for the chop, not because it is in danger of falling, or its roots were damaged. After the other trees are chopped down this tree will be on ts own, with none of its friends around it. That apparently means that it will be subject to the wind and will be in danger of blowing over, so it requires to be murdered.
In short it is claimed that THIRTEEN tree roots were damaged by a digger, not one or two but THIRTEEN.
In addition one tree will be lonely, so FOURTEEN require to be chopped.
Or do they.
The report says that they are perfectly healthy and will live for another 20 years.
Are they to be removed because the council want the small access road to the bin store to be in line, yet the report says they can move it back a bit if they wish.
Fourteen trees to be removed, only one is dead, the pothers are healthy and in no danger of falling down.
Mr Google tells us that this report would cost between £500 - £650, removal of he trees would cost thousands and the replanting of mature trees, if undertaken, would also cost thousands.
Who will pay, the tax payers or the builders insurance company?
