At the last full council meeting it was put to the Cllrs that there was a request from a member of the public to audio record.

They require to agree and Cllr Grant was heard to say "IF anyone is that interested".

Well Barbara there are plenty interested.

Because if it is not audio recorded the public will miss out on some of the things being said by our elected members and staff.

For example:-

When the Director of the Environment was asked a question and he answered, no one outside of the chamber could here what he was saying on the web cast as his mike was not working.

We got it..........

(Months now that microphone has not been working, what is the clerk, Eamonn Daly, going to do about it?)

Betty Cunningham took over the chair for the last item, as the Provost had an interest in that item.

She did not switch on her microphone and therefore her words were not picked up by the web cast.

Needless to say, if the comments are not picked up by the web cast they are not minuted.

We got it..........

At one point she asked if there were any other comments?

Cllr Swift said he had and we could hear Cllr Devlin, as usual without his microphone on moaning.

NAW, COMMMMMMME ONNNNNNN. (No, come on)
