Hi
Sorry, obviously first line below should read Audit & Scrutiny not Cabinet.
Apologies.

Subject : Re: Audit & Scrutiny Committee Meeting 27 September 2018 - Webcasting
Dear Chair Cllr Miller (and committee members)
Again, I request that the Cabinet meeting at 2:00pm on 27 September 2018 be available via Webcast.
The circumstances now are that the Council meeting following this meeting will be Webcast.
I see no problem with the Webcasting of both meetings.
Everything will be in position and can be made available for both meetings.
There is a precedent for 2 meetings to be Webcast one after the other.
The Council has a contract that allows for at least 30 hours Webcast per annum.
This 30 hours per annum has not been fully used since the contract was introduced in 2015.
There will be no cost for the Webcast of this meeting.
The Council are already paying for this within the current contract.
In March 2015 the Council approved the introduction of webcasting of Council meetings in the Council Chamber.
This did not specifically restrict Webcasts to Full Council Meetings only.
There is no necessity for the Full Council to approve the Webcast of this Committee meeting.
I would appreciate your help in this matter.
