Well smarty pants, we did not go to the PIRC because of our success at the Scottish Information Commissionaire, we went because of a totally separate issue, the fact that the police had failed to investigate our complaint properly.

One cannot complain to PIRC that the FOI legislation has been breached, they have no remit, and perhaps you do indeed have little knowledge of the legislation after all.

Vindication ? - As a consequence of the conduct of Police Scotland we have made two complaints to the Freedom of Information Commissioner (Scotland) regarding their failure to comply with the FOI legislation.

Both upheld.

We also made a complaint to the Police Investigations Review Commissioner (Scotland) (PIRC) about Police Scotland, with regards to their handling of our compliant.

Upheld.

We also made two complaints concerning the conduct of Police Scotland to the Freedom of Information Commissioner (England) with regards to their failure to comply with the Data Protection Legislation.

Both upheld.

All of this grief because a wee boy wanted to be a senior cop and did what the evil due asked. He is now a senior cop at headquarters in charge of the licensing section. (Headquarters is known to operational cops as Cowards Castle)

The evil due continue unabated and the staff at the polis keep trying to close ranks and protect their buddy the wee boy, who is actually out of it all now as they are the ones being shown up. Just mental that it has taken so long to get to the truth, they must be sticking pins in a doll of a particular person for showing them up for what they all are..........
