Individual Neighbourhood Watch’s can consist of a few neighbours, or extend to any number of neighbours within adjoining streets, depending on the logistics of the area.

Each Neighbourhood Watch will have it own appointed Group Coordinator.

If the Neighbourhood Watch decides to join our Umbrella Organisation we can provide support in all manner of forms.

We have grouped watches in geographical areas, such as Barrhead, Busby, Eaglesham, Thornliebank, Stamperland etc to enable us to provide an Area Coordinator to assist and support local group coordinators if required.

In addition we have now developed these area’s into the same format as the East Renfrewshire Area Forums in order to provide another layer of support, via your representative on the respective area forums.

We applied to this forum for funding in order to purchase 100 Personal alarms to be given to vulnerable residents in the forum area. People will be identified through group cordinators, community police or other relevent bodies.

I would like to thank this particular Forum for agreeing to our request for the funding of this project, which will enhance the existing material and goods that we provide.
